Old People and Candy Wrappers

Sitting in church today, there was an old man behind me opening a candy wrapper. Of course, this took forever and lasted all the way through the prayer...actually, it started before the prayer.

Here's what I think...they can't hear the wrappers and they think they're being quiet. That's why it takes so long for them to open up the freakin' candy...because they are trying to be quiet. They think by slowly opening the wrapper, that they are being quiet. The truth, of course, is the opposite...if they would just open the wrapper quickly, it would all be over with!
