Noel has been missing for over a week. I just found her outside. She's been hurt and her left eye is swollen shut, but I've looked at it and I think it will be fine, but may take her to the vet tomorrow if it looks worse. I'm not sure what kind of animal she's gotten into a fight with. I'm just glad she's back...I had counted her as lost forever.

Oh, I'm so glad you got her back! Makes you wonder what her story would be if she could talk!
oh, good. My first cat left for awhile, then came back when I'd just about written her off. Some time later she wondered off again and never came back. It tears you up inside. I can't stand to see missing cat posters, but I have to look anyway. Maybe I'm just a sucker for cats, but I'm glad you got yours back.
@Mrs. E - I try not to think about it too much. I hate to think of what she must have gone through.
@jason - I have lost too many cats to the animals in the woods around my house. I always hate it, but it is easier than having them die in your arms...that's a tough one.
I'm so glad she came back and I'm just hoping that she doesn't lose her eye!
